        A chili supper, pie auction and silent auction will be held at the Highfill Community building to help Garvin and Ila Reid recover after a fire destroyed their home in mid-January. Donations of Pies and items for the silent auction are welcome. For more information, call Lisa Jones at 479-790-6966.
      • Lions Club Pancake Supper — Mar 25, 2010 5:00pm - Mar 25, 2010 8:00pm
        The 37th Annual Lions Club Pancake Supper will be held at the Gentry High School Cafeteria. Tickets - $5 for adults and $3 for children under 6 - are available from any Lions Club member and at the Courier-Journal office.
      • Tired Iron of the Ozarks Spring Show — Apr 16, 2010 8:00am - Apr 18, 2010 6:00pm
        The 18th Annual Spring Show will be held April 16-18, at the club's show grounds, 13344 Taylor Orchard Road, Gentry. Regular meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at the Tired Iron clubhouse.
