The word “bomb” on a boys’ bathroom wall led to a precautionary evacuation and search of Gentry High School this morning, but nothing was found and the writing on the wall may have been there since yesterday, police said. The Gentry School Board, at a special meeting Thursday afternoon, voted to award Janco, Inc. the school’s custodial services contract because of the necessity placed upon the district to cut expenses – not because of any dissatisfaction with the services of in-house custodians.
