The Gentry School District is soliciting ideas from parents and patrons for effective ways to invest federal stimulus dollars made available to the district by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Miss Gentry Pageant Contestants

The Miss Gentry Pageant was held Thursday night at Gentry High School with five contestants for the 2009 Miss Gentry title. Results and more photos will be in the May 27 issue of the Gentry Courier-Journal.

Athletic passes for next year on sale

Gentry all-sport athletic passes are on sale at Gentry High School from Brae Harper. Prices are as follows: Adults, $80; Students, $65; and Family Passes (includes two adults and two students), $200.
